my husband has decided he isn't in love with me and wants a divorce. I was a stay at home mom so I was completely dependent upon him. his mom is offering to get me an apartment and pay a few months rent until I get on my feet. but my mom says I need to come back home to family. they live an hour away and i dont have the greatest relationship with them. I'm so confused about what to do. please help!

If you think you can realistically become self sufficient in 2-3 months, take your MIL’s help. 
If you have no idea how you can support yourself and your baby it’s probably best to go back to your family.

Girl get that apartment and get on your feet!! If your family and you don't always get along it will be so stressful. Especially with your baby... I had a situation with me ex, and I left our apartment and went back home an hour away and was there for 3 days and ended up taking to my ex parents and they decided they will get him a place and let me keep the apartment because of the situation I was put in by their son. But 3 days back at my family's and I couldn't do it. I love them and I miss them when they're not around but it was too much for me. Personal experience and opinion. I say you get your own and hustle mamma.

i think you need to go back to your family. stay with them and work on supporting your kids and you. that way, you wont have anything to do w him anymore.

This is a tough one. What will happen after three months if you don’t find a job? Will your MIL continue to pay? It’s hard to find a job these days. Three months isn’t a lot of time. I know you said you are not on the greatest terms with your family, but to me it seems like the better option. Will they allow you to stay as long as you need to? I don’t know how bad your relationship is with them, but maybe this a chance for you guys to work on it. Good luck mama! I’m a sahm, so I know how it is being completely dependent on your husband.

Personally I couldn't go back home. My mom would have driven me nuts. She was a lot of help and I really appreciate that, but living with her is a whole other story. 
I would have accepted my MIL's help if it was offered. I worked weekends (2 a month) for awhile and now have a dayhome (I'm remarried but wish I had done it when I was single!!).
