First MFM appointment?? 22 weeks

Hi ladies! 
At our 20 week scan there were two abnormalities found along with baby measuring under 10 percentile. We were referred to MFM and have our first appointment Tuesday! It’s hard for my husband to get off work so I’m just wondering what your experience has been with MFM appointments in general? We’re supposed to have a regular OB appointment right after (so he can be at both) but the more I’m reading, it seems we would be cutting it extremely close. 
MFM is 8:45 AM and OB is 11:15. There’s no way, right? Of course I’d love him to be at both but, I’d rather have the support at MFM if I have to choose. I can always move the OB to a different day if absolutely necessary.
 Thoughts? ALSO, ladies that were referred after abnormalities on your 20 week scan, what was this first MFM appointment like? We are doing another ultrasound of course and meeting with a generic counselor. What should we expect?

My MFM appt was at 230, left a bit after 5
Id look at moving OB

I see my MFM and my OB every 2 weeks.  The first appt will always run a little long, but you should have enough time.  If your worried I would move the OB.  Mentioning that, my MFM would tell us worst case scenarios (which they should) which would freak us out pretty badly.  I would always follow up with my OB so I would get two versions of the info and we could decide what to do next.  Good luck!

I had my OB appt at 820 and my MFM at 920. We had plenty of time. I think you should be okay as long as you don’t have to travel a long distance to get from one place to the next.

What is MFM? I had my anatomy scan and he was measuring small so they want to monitor his growth every month with ultrasounds

My Doctors actually won't schedule appointments on the same day because some insurance companies won't pay for both. My MFM appointments are always much longer than my OB appointments. I always get an ultrasound where the do a BPP,  then after that, doc comes in to talk about baby and when I will come back.
