Should I bring cloth diapers for delivery?

Expecting my first child in Sept, and we plan to cloth diaper. Should I bring my own to the hospital for while we are there?

I would just start when you get home. It’s one less thing to lug home.

It's up to you. We started from birth and it wasn't an issue for us. We were there for 3days and 2 nights. My milk didn't come in until the 4th day, so my LO didn't have very many wet diapers. We didn't use a single disposable and went through maybe 8 newborn cloth diapers.

I waited until the meconium stage had passed. Those first poops are like tar and I didn’t want to have to deal with that right off the bat.

I'm  taking mine to hospital with me. Midwives thought it was cool i wanted to being them.

I used disposable because of the cord and I didn’t have any newborn sizes and she was WAY smaller than I expected her to be.

Use disposables at the hospital. You’ll have so many other things to bring in and take back home. Expecting my second one in November. While I love cloth and am committed to them, I will not bring them to the hospital.

I’m using disposables until his umbilical stump falls off because most cloth diapers don’t have a cut out to make sure it’s not covered, so I won’t be bringing cloth to the hospital.

While in the hospital I'm just using the disposable ones, I'd rather not have the dirty cloth ones sitting around for days and I feel like it'd just be easier to use disposable at the hospital
