Please tell me I am not alone in this

So. I'm going to give as many details as possible...... this might get long. SORRY

So I thought I conceived on 04/03/2018. I took the test on 04/26/2018 and man oh man did that thing turn super pink super fast. Like, I was still peeing and it said positive.

Anyway, I go to my PCP because of period like cramps and get blood work. They measure my HCG one week and the week after. They said my levels were increasing normally. Said I was about 6 to 7 weeks after the second set of blood work. (I immediately felt like that was wrong. But accepted it anyway)

Made my first appt with OBG on 05/18 thinking I would be 8 to 9 weeks. Turns out just the gest sac and a slight outer, faded, line for the yolk sac, no baby.

She asked me to return in 2 weeks saying I was only showing at 5 weeks (My original guess). Today was that second appointment and not really any changes except a little string for the baby and a more defined yolk sac. Not more defined by much, but enough to give me hope.

Anyway, she said shes concerned that the baby stopped developing or I am a lucky girl who popped positive on a test super early and were just earlier than we thought. But I could see it on her face. The moment she looked at that sac, I could tell. She thinks the baby stopped growing.

I got my blood drawn right then and there and they posted my results online but no one called me today. That P steroid is showing at 8.9 but my HCG count wasn't on there. I'm so worried. :(

and then I sit here wondering like if everything does turn out okay, why are some girls able to see so much at 5 weeks and others have to wait till 12 weeks to really see something? I'm losing it. :(
