progesterone pills???

when did you stop taking progesterone? did you stop cold turkey or gradually? I'm 14+ weeks pregnant and my doctor hasn't answered me when I called. Bottle says stop at 13 weeks....
so far I haven't taken any for 3 days.. scared it might affect the baby?

I stopped at 12 weeks. Was taking 200mg twice a day.

I stopped when the bottle was gone at 14 weeks. You shouldn’t have to gradually stop unless told otherwise. I’m concerned your doctor office hasn’t called you back! I’d call again first thing Monday

How much were you taking before? I was only on 100mg and stopped around 11 weeks 4 days (when I ran out). My doctor wasn’t concerned about me stopping a little early (originally said 12 weeks). I had no side effects from stopping them completely. But was very relieved to be done with the “mess” that suppositories tend to cause 🙄. I am a little concerned your doctor won’t even answer the phone! Does your office at least have a nurse you can talk to?
