How’d you meet your boo?

For those of you who met through dating app or internet, are you ashamed to tell people? I met the loml on an app called Meet Me and I was not looking for a man lol I just wanted friends. Promised myself to have the profile up for one week just to have convos with people and most guys that messaged me were jerks. Literally, the 7th day I was going to be deleting it by midnight, he messaged me just a few hours prior and wanted to exchange numbers to continue talking. AGAIN, I was NOT looking for someone to date atm but he stole my heart immediately! Crazy part about it all, he was leaving out of state for MCT and MOS (he’s a marine) the next day for FOUR months and he contacted me whenever he had free time and was so happy that I waited for him and gave him a chance. P.S. he surprised me at my home the day before he was supposed to even come back home😭
