best therapeutic shoes?

I'm starting a new job where I'll be work long hours 8 to 10 hours. i can hardly stand for 4 hours straight. I'm 16w4d and I hard shoes can make the biggest difference in standing for long hours. anyone have any suggestions?

I believe there’s a law protecting pregnant women from standing for long periods of time at work. Great thinking with the orthopedic shoes, but your employer is required to give you a good amount of sitting time. I’d suggest looking it up and talking with your employer and requesting the sitting time when you need it.

When I was in retail (sporting goods store asst. manager) the only shoes that had the support for my 10-12 hour days were my Mizuno brand. Nothing else compared. 
I could work a 14-16 hour Black Friday shift, because we were 24 hours for Black Friday, and my feet wouldn't feel like they were going to fall off!

I’ve worn danscos for years. I first got them when I was a nurse in the hospital and would do long shifts on tile floors. After I got used to them I felt a significant difference in my back and leg pain. Six years later and I still swear by them. They’re expensive but mine last for about 2 years with regular use.

Vionic insoles in good supportive shoes. (My foot surgeon said not soft sided Nike tennis shoes, but the trusty supportive ones like new balance - yeah not always trendy). Also compression stocking may help.

I work on my feet 8-9 hours everyday. I have gone thru dozens of shoes over the years for work, i have always found Reebok and Asics shoes to give me the most comfort. I usually look for an aerobic style shoe or walking shoe. i stay away from running shoes because the seem like the soles are too hard and offer no squish.
