Anyone have easy recovery after c section? 😬

I’m being told I may need a c section due to baby’s size and I’m very nervous bc I always hear the recovery is absolutely horrendous 😢

I had a planned C-section and I ended up leaving the hospital early bc I felt 100% back to normal in 3 days. I would recommend a c-section to everyone! I was never in pain, never had hemorrhoids or have to sit on a cushion bc my bum hurt after delivery. I have such a ity bity scar. And the best part, I went in for a C-section at 12:00 and was holding a perfectly healthy baby in my arms by 12:30! Now everyone is different with different complications and health issues of course, but I don’t think you should worry about a c-section. Good luck though!!

My first was horrible, but was in labor during the c-section and I had some really scary complications before, during, and after surgery. My second went much smoother and I healed a lot faster. I’m not looking forward to my third c-section, but my babies are well worth it. First couple of days are rough, but within a week your pain will practically be gone. 
BTW...they told me my first would be 10+ pounds and wanted me to consider a c-section before I went into labor...I ended up having a c-section due to other reasons but she was only 8 lbs 14 oz.

I just had a c section two weeks ago. I was so scared but the recovery was so easy for me. As soon as they let me out of bed I walked around. I felt myself by day 3 by the day we went home I walked myself out of the hospital. Stairs were an adjustment but after a week I was out shopping and taking the baby for a walk. Now I feel completely back to myself.

I had an emergency csection with my twins. Had a placenta abruption baby a heart beat dropped. They had me in or knocked and babies out in 4 min. Never felt a thing, didn’t need pain meds but for 2 days they made me. Barely see scar. I’ll be having another one this time but hopefully scheduled. Only bad part was not being able to see babies for 12 hrs because they were in nicu and I wasn’t allowed up

Mine was emergency after 4 hours of on and off pushing, but... I heard when they are scheduled they aren’t so bad.

I had an emergency one the first time and it took forever because I had different pain meds in me already. but a planned one isn't as bad I recovered quickly

I had a c section due to failed induction for pre eclampsia. I was a little upset when the nurse told me we were walking to the bathroom (all of maybe 5 feet) but it definitely helped. She helped me change and everything like that. Then the next day I spent as much of the day on my feet as I could. They let me out of the hospital a day early because I was recovering so well. 4 days pp and I was vacuuming, shopping, rearranging furniture, and carried my baby in her stroller down a flight of stairs! Keep taking the Tylenol and Motrin and keep moving as much as you can. Good luck and positive thoughts!

I’ve had two c-sections with my boys, to me they wasn’t that bad I felt very sore for the 1st couples days but that eased off once came home from hospital, by week 2 I felt like myself again. I was driving my car and doing school runs after 2wks.. 😊

I had a c section on the 18th of April I got discharged on the 19th of April, I was able to do everything quite normal. I had an excellent recovery...

my first recovery was awful but I laboured before having an emergency csection and also had complications. i was terrified to have my second because I had such a terrible experience. my newest little guy is 2 months now and I healed so much quicker.  of course there was pain, but it was all bearable and I was perfectly back to my normal self within a matter of weeks. this was a scheduled csection. all i can recommend is that you have lots of help lined up when you get home...you will need it as you are recovering. good luck!
