How bad is the Group B Strep Test?

It actually takes less time to explain it than to actually have the procedure done! lol it was all completely painless! Big Q-Tip inside vagina, dragged down to anus and a lil inside there..... Done!! ☺️

I doubt it's any more awkward than a Pap smear. I'm getting it done on Thursday. I'm super modest. Pregnancy has really tested my boundaries.

I had it done last week and they just took a a long qtip and swabbed my vagiba and that was it. Took like 5 seconds.

When I had it done with my first they just took a swab and ran it from my vagina straight down and over my anus. It didn't hurt. It was just awkward.

I had mine done last week at 35 weeks..kinda awkward but not painful, the doctor checking my cervix was worse😩

My dr is letting me do it myself if I can reach. Which I actually don't think will be a problem. Good luck with it

They take a cotton swabbed q-tip and swab your anus and vagina. It doesn't hurt but it's super awkward.
