5 week old BMs?

My 5 week old son only poops once a day and it’s usually a blow out. Is that normal?

It can be. I’ve learned from pediatricians that when the baby is getting the optimal amount of nutrition baby doesn’t poop. So only one BM a day isn’t necessarily bad. Blow outs happen a lot with newborns

I think as long as they are not hard or uncomfortable for LO then once a day is fine. My son struggles with constipation ( hard poops and crying when he’s straining) so once a day makes us happy.
