So for those who cloth...do newborn cloth diapers work for you? I just cannot seem to get them too work for me...baby always leaks out

Prefolds and workhorses with covers worked well for us with a newborn. I plan to use them again with my third baby.

Baby is only 1 month old but we’ve been using cloth diapers for 2 weeks and have only had 2 (pee) leaks. We use flats, prefolds, and workhorses with covers and have about 6 different brand AIOs. The AIOs are convenient when out but definitely don’t last as long as the other options (our stretchy bamboo flats seem to last the longest)
We change every 3 hours maximum, but usually every 2. We use disposables for her long (4.5-5 hours) night time stretch.

We mostly use prefolds and covers. We have a few AIOs. The Thirsties Natural AIOs worked best for us, but are nowhere near as absorbent as her prefolds. We always have to use a doubler in them, and we need to be really careful that there are no leg gaps.

I found prefolds and covers the easiest for newborn stage. I have a small newborn stash on aio but found they didn’t last long 🤷🏼‍♀️
