Religion and Infertility

Maggie

I found out this afternoon that my suspicion about Catholicism and IVF is true.

The Catholic church does not support assisted conception. I was raised as a part of the Catholic church and I still consider myself Catholic, however my husband and I require IVF to get pregnant because I have tubal scarring.

I am not going to renounce my faith, but I am worried that my extended family will judge us for using this method to have children.
