Thursday I went in for my first ultrasound. We saw our little baby moving around as we were both so excited to finally see the little thing. That turned quickly when the doctors left to consult with another doctor. She came back to inform us that the nuchal translucency was at a .8 mm however it could very well be nothing and could just be the Amnio sac being close to the baby. We now have to go in for testing and have a follow up ultrasound at 13 weeks. I’m worried sick and can’t fight back the tears. Anyone else have this happen or have any advise? I am currently 9 wks 6 days.
