My husband and I are trying to work out financially how we can afford for me to take a year off work so to help get us ahead, we’re buying everything now - I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant and we’ve started buying nappies already. My work colleague has told me to be weary of buying them too soon though because they become less stretchy and the tabs don’t stick as well over time

Can anyone please shed light on their own personal experience ?
