My beautiful baby boy was doing so well this entire time until mommy’s blood pressure went from the normal 120/80 to 150/100. My poor baby was not receiving the proper nutrients because my placenta was shutting down and he is underweight and his umbilical cord was around his neck. Unfortunately he is currently in the NICU because he is hypoglycemic and on an IV. He is stable at the moment but the nurses are trying to wean him off of the IV and I hope it is soon so my husband and I can bond with him better. We miss him so much and love him with everything. I had to get an emergency c section because he was in so much distress during my contractions the his heart rate kept dropping. But I am so thankful for all of the wonderful and polite staff here at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
