What does it take to change the due date?

I went into the ER last week for a massive bleed. I was 10w4d at the time. Baby was fine (miraculously) and measuring at 11w3d. With a discrepancy of 6 days, I don’t know how far along to consider myself... should I still go off of the original gestational age or the new one? I see my OB on Wednesday for a follow up. Thanks!!

Usually over a week difference! When I was 9 weeks 1 day, baby measured 8 weeks 3 days & they kept my due date bc it wasn’t a big enough difference for a full date change 😊

Based off my LMP I was 9w 5d at my dating scan. Baby measured 10w 5d. They said they would keep my due date the same but would have changed it if the baby had measured more than one week difference.

I don’t think they typically change your due date unless it’s more than a week off. The measurements are averages, babies grow at their own rate. You LMP and cycle length are the best guess of your due date unless you k ow when you ovulated.

Just curious... to you ladies who measured ahead, how far along do YOU consider yourself to be? Do you use the more advanced date, or the original? 
At my 9 week ultrasound, I was told I was 5 days farther (but my due date would remain on Christmas). But I changed all my apps to reflect the new difference.. just wondering if I’m taking the wrong approach to this.
