Clomid first timer

Hi. started Clomid this month, having back pain and hot flushes. I had a scan today (day 12) and was told not to have sex for 48 hours and possibly abandon this cycle as I have 4 follicles which are a good size. nurse said there is a possibility of quads! Omg. Has this happened to any of you guys?
