So it’s Monday evening now and my boyfriend who is 8 hours away (by car) has still not contacted me. I was worried so I called his job on Saturday and he told me his phone’s been broken since Thursday 5pm and that he was going to get it fixed or buy a new phone. I said if he really wanted to talk to me he could’ve used his computer, although he doesn’t have a Facebook and has no Instagram either. So he jokingly said “what do you want me to do, email you?” And then he laughed, but before we hung up we both said we love each other.

But the thing is, if he really wanted to talk to me he’d try, right? Or am I overreacting? We’ve been together for three years now. He used to live here the first two years we were together but moved away last year so we’ve been long distance since then. I just feel like if he really cared he would’ve tried to contact me to tell me what’s going on so I wouldn’t be worried. I tried calling his job today to talk to him but he had already left for the day. He’s also been a little distant the past few weeks so that is also worrying me 😔

Edit: we pretty much talk every single day for the past 4 years or so, since we were friends before we started dating. But recently it’s been getting less and less :/ now it’s been days since his phone has supposedly been broken.
