So my sister has 6 bridesmaid and this weekend they threw her a bridal shower. it was small, 3 of us sisters, 3 inlaws, and 5 bridesmaids. everyone brought gifts except the bridesmaids. Am i missing something where if you host you dont need to bring a gift? it kind of felt like a pathetic attempt party for not inviting us to her bachelorette party but on top of that they didnt even treat it like a shower. my sister said we didnt have to bring gifts but it wasn't stated on the invite. I'm just mad at her and all her bridesmaid for treating us, her family, like second class citizens when we're the ones who are paying for half her wedding.
