AALIYAH PRESLEY HAS ARRIVED!!! Born today 6/4/18 at 9:25am wring 8 pounds 11 oz 20 inches long!!!! I had a scheduled c section.. my due date was June 9 .. so that made me a little over 39 weeks pregnant.. so I got a up this morning at 5:15 am... I had to check in by 6:30.. checked in and the RN attempted to start an IV... I let her know that nurses ALWAYS have issues with my veins... long story short I was poked 6 times trying to get my IV started... they ended up having to call the anesthesiologist to start it... idk I guess they’re more experienced with that then the nurses... he got it the first time... (thank God) .. after that he told me what to expect going forward... I started getting nervous at this time... it’s my 2nd c section but with my first I was put under.. this time I I received a spinal block.. they had me drink this Really sour liquid to help slow down my digestive system... from then i went to the OR..it all went pretty quickly after that..

I sat on the edge of the bed hunched over.. he cleaned the area and said I’d feel a small pinch... by this time I’m singing and talk not to God trying not to think about what he was doing ... it hurt a bit and I kind of jumped... but it wasn’t that bad.. then he he gave me to actual spinal.. the initial stick was ok... the shot itself took what seemed like 5 minutes to administer.. every now and then It would hurt me and he would ask me on what side did I feel it... after that the layer me down... I absolutely hated being flat... all the pressure on me I could breath well...

They checked about 3 times to see if the spinal was taking..after about what seemed like 15 minutes I was numb... this was THE MOST WEIRDEST FEELING EVER... the drapes came up they placed my  catheter inn... they told me when the drapes came up they’d call my husband in.... I felt then messing around with my stomach but had NO idea that it hey had started..when my husband came in he said the baby was almost out.. I was like REALLY!!! I felt a lot of tugging and pulling nothing painful but still very much just weird.. they got the baby out and showed her to me!!! 

They then proceeded to tie my tubes ( after asking me 50 times if I was sure) lol that took about an hour it felt... when they finished I’m not sure what they were doing but it literally felt like they were “stuffing (for lack of better terms) my organs back inside... it was a little painful 😣.... the stitches me up and took me to recovery... here they kept me forever... I had to be able to move my legs in order to go to my room... that took HOURS.. I hated the feeling of being numb and not being able to move... I couldn’t think about it because I would have went crazy... I tried to just sleep it off... that’s the only way I could get through it.. thank God it’s over I’m healing great.. baby latches on... hopefully I’ll only be here a day or so..here is my big baby
