Hello ladies, I've seen this topic on Facebook a few times and a friend of mine has brought it up. As many of you know, in order to get your tubes tied you have to have a certain amount of kids already and you have to be at least 21. It is very very very hard to find a medical doctor willing to do the procedure without meeting those requirements. However some people have no desire to ever have children and want a permanent solution to that, but they aren't able to do it because they must have kids already, but they don't want any at all.

I have a friend who is 18 amd she just had an adorable baby boy. She absolutely does not want any more kids so she wants her tubes tied. She asked her doctor about it and the doctor said that even if she was 21, she has to have more kids before they would do it.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the age requirement, I feel that having that age requirement is good. However, I feel like you shouldn't have to have kids in order to not have more. You should be able to get them tied without having to have children already, because if you don't want any you don't want any, that's just my opinion.
