Update- am I pregnant please help

8 days ago I finally got my post partum period after 2.5 years of no periods! It lasted 5 days, normal bleeding, back to normal.

I just took a pregnancy test because I’ve been feeling crummy, thinking nothing would come of it since I just had a period. The last time I had sex was the day of my period, 8 days ago, and multiple different times before that.

Well the test came back positive like immediately and not squinty positive like wow that’s positive.

I did get a positive ovulation test 3 weeks ago, and if I got pregnant then I’d expect the test to be much darker.

Did I have a chemical pregnancy??? Could I be pregnant??? Was that not a period???

I AM SO CONFUSED

Update: I took another test this morning. The top is from last night and this morning’s is definitely darker. But I’m assuming that could just be the difference between FMU and not?

Update:

My hcg blood draw from yesterday (Wednesday) came back at 28.55 which she said was on the lower side but like still there so I need to have my blood drawn again on Saturday to find out more. Otherwise, pregnancy tests were getting darker every day but this morning it seemed the same if not lighter 😔
