I think it's pretty ridiculous if they're serious. I'm taking my daughter during the daytime, so if they expect parents to not take their children to the daytime showings then they need to get the hell over it. I am one of those people that has been waiting years for the sequel but I'm not delusional enough to say kids have to wait to see it because adults don't want to share.

movies aren't a special club that you have to earn the right to see. you buy a ticket, you get to see the movie. sure, adults who love the original have every right to be there, but so do the kids.
