Hi all, I have PCOS and today is the first day of my missed period. I’m trying to figure out the best time to test, since I know that women with PCOS often have low HGC which means they don’t get a positive hpt as soon. Please comment if you’ve gotten pregnant with PCOS when you got a BFP. Baby dust to all! ✨

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014 or 2015 (I cannot remember honestly) and I found out the I was pregnant March 2016. I rarely have periods (maybe one a year) never thought I could get pregnant but my breasts started hurting and I peed on about 5 tests and all of them told me I was pregnant, went to the doctors and they told me I was 4-5 weeks at the time I found out.

I think it depends on how regular your cycle is and if you were tracking ovulation. If you’re sure you’re late and/or you know when you ovulated I’d test when you’re a day or two late. If neither, then I’d test later. I’m not aware that we don’t produce hcg

buy the cheap ones in bulk on amazon, then you can test whenever. if you track bbt to know when you ovulate then test 2 weeks after that date. I ovulated on the 14th spotted/implanted on the 24th but didnt get a positive till I tested the 28th. but if I had tested the 26th I probably would have gotten a positive then.

For me I can’t say.. never had a period .. ( I never get them unless I draw them on with provera) so I’m constantly taking tests ( because I can never tell) found out  I was 8 weeks pregnant with my son on a positive test.. with my daughter took a test because I started having cramping every time I sat on the toilet and it was negative.. a week later, I made an appointment with my OB to see what’s going on and she thought it could be cysts.. did my usual Pee in a cup procedure she came in and to my shock said I had a positive test.. did any Ultrasound that day and no baby.. doctor said could be too early.. 4 weeks later came back and sure enough I was pregnant and this time with a baby girl.
