Boyfriend at 14?

I’m 14 and am feeling ready for a boyfriend but no one seems to like me and all the boys I am friends with are not my type. What should I do? Should I wait until someone that likes me back comes along or try and make something more with a crush?  😭

I met my husband (We’ve now been together 13 years) when I was 14 and started dating him when i was 15. Most of the time, however, young high school relationships don’t work out. If you find a guy who you are really into and have a lot in common with and a relationship forms than great - just don’t jump too quickly into doing anything with him you might regret. But at your age I wouldn’t go looking for a guy to date just because you want a boyfriend. It will happen when it happens.

I started dating boys when I was young. Although, like one of the comments says... it’s better to wait it out than to go searching for one. You could end up doing something that may not be of your best interest for emotional purposes. Some boys are very good. They treat a girl the way they should be. Some are bad.. but need help. It just depends what you’re looking for. Especially if you’ve never had a boyfriend before, be careful. You are worth diamonds and gold. More than rubies or diamonds. Your worth is far more than to be played around with. Just be careful, beautiful. 🦋💞

Why don’t you just talk to boys for now and get to know yourself better.
Wait until high school or until you are 16 and give it a little more time.
Just have fun with your friends and focus on school for a bit. Boys will always be there, don’t rush, enjoy being a kid for a little longer!
