Last Name Change

Fiancés family has been nothing but rude to me. Critical members: mother, brothers, brothers kids’ mother.

I can’t imagine sharing a name with such people. I want my last name to make me feel pride. Not anger.

Our daughter is due November. We plan to be wed before then.

I can’t fathom my child having a last name that differs from mine.

His last name is Beach. Mine is Cassady. I’m not super passionate about keeping mine, but honestly it kills me to consider changing it to his.
