Totally over-reacting but I can't help it :(

So I got word today that my partner is coming home earlier than expected. Obviously I'm over the freaking moon BUT although he's flying home early, i still can't see him until a couple of days after that.

I know it sounds silly but knowing he's finally back in the same country as me but I can't see him is gunna drive me mad. He told me he was coming straight home after he got off the plane but something's come up at work and now he can't.

I had this big reunion moment planned in my head. I wanted the butterflies in my stomach when I saw him pull up outside, I wanted the romantic moment that I run out the front door and jump into his arms. It's stupid I know but I can't get time off work to be here when he gets back and it's left me really deflated tbh.

I guess I've been watching too many reunion videos on Facebook :(

On the bright side though, I finally get my baby back and he's finally getting promoted👍🏻🎉
