Does risk of mc decrease after seeing heart beat?

Question

I had ultrasound done today at 6wk 1day and the fetal heart rate is 101
On the report it says this is low- however everywhere I’ve read the norm seems to be 90 and up for just 6weeks!
Does seeing the heart beat decrease risk of miscarriage?
I go back in 10 more days for follow up ultrasound

My dr said the percentage risk of MC decreases after seeing a healthy heartbeat. It does not go away and can still happen—-but I’ll take even a sliver of extra hope if that means it bumps down likelihood even a tiny bit

I agree, they say it decreases the chance, but it still happens.  Lost both my angels after seeing their heartbeats multiple times ☹

I wish it did but I don’t believe it does. I have a 3 year old daughter who I had zero issues having and then went on to lose 4 babies. 1 @ 8 weeks 1 stillborn at 23 weeks and twins @ 10 weeks. All completely healthy pregnancies. I heard my daughters heartbeat two days before I lost her at 23 weeks. Same with my twins.

I dont know the actual answer, I can tell you by experience that I miscarried 2 pregnancies that were viable (with heartbeat) x

My dr was very confident after seeing my little ones heartbeat after losing my first to a mc. Yes the chances of miscarrying is still there, my MIL miscarried at 19 weeks, but the percentage does decrease. There's always going to be something bad happening at any time to anyone really just try not to stress over it too much
