My SD will be 12 in August and baby is due at the end of January. Her mom has 2 kids that are 4 and 5 and SD doesn't "like" them because she was never allowed to help when they were babies and they hit her and are not disciplined.

We used to be super close but now that she's getting older, she is short tempered and dismissive of me and I honestly am really frustrated. She wants us to get her a HUSKY but refuses to help out with the dogs we have. I can't imagine the stress of having a newborn around!

We have been doing 50/50 (not court ordered, but it makes BM's life easier and she still receives child support) for 2 months and my relationship with SD has been rapidly deteriorating since. Hubby owns a business and isn't around much so I make sure she is bathed and fed and he barely interacts with her. I honestly think she needs to be with her mother full-time because a lot of responsibility is falling on me and all I get is disrespect and indifference. Thoughts? Experiences? Thanks for letting me vent.
