How long after your bloody show was baby born?

Happy to see blood!!!
Don’t want to get my hopes up BUT I just had my bloody show!!! Midwife said she expects a call today or tomorrow with active labor. Is it true? 
Had a dime sized clot and wiped 3 times to blood. 
Can’t wait to have my overcooked baby!! Really hope this is it!

Update: Bloody show at about 10pm; contractions started 11:30ish; no pain just menstrual cramps. Checked at 2am and was 2cm. At 2:45 I was 8cm. Got in the tub and had the baby less than an hour later. No medication, no tears. What worked? Well honestly I’m not sure but I used clary sage oil for the first time around 9:30pm so I guess that triggered it. Used it on pressure points in my feet and a cotton ball next to my pillow. Haven’t slept since but bleeding is normal and baby is perfect. Good luck over due moms! I seriously thought we would have to induce and was dreading Friday and she made it just in time ❤️

I had my bloody show around 4:30am and had instant intense contractions. A nurse had previously told me that contractions would feel like a light switch being turned on and boy was she right. Baby was born at 6:36pm that same day. I’m a FTM too and I feel like labor flew by. I hope yours is just as quick!
