I’m seeking advice from anyone who got birth control as a teen (pills, IUDs, implants, anything) without their parents finding out. How did you do it? What is the process that you have to go through? My mother has told me that if I think I’m going to be sexually active that I should come to her about birth control, but I want to wait until my next birthday (Late September) to talk to her about anything related to that, especially since she thinks my boyfriend and I have been dating for about two months when its actually closer to seven. We have always used condoms but i would really like to have that second layer just in case.
