After labor I was able to hold my baby for about 15-20 mins.. after my placenta came out, the nurses and doctors noticed my blood wasn't clotting. After the nurses and doctors spent hours, literally hours, extensively pushing on my stomach (all I could feel was pain from the painful pressure of the nurse's hands trying to push all the clumps out) I finally started to clot only after losing 1liter of blood. Luckily I did not need the blood transfusion but did need iron supplement ttratments...
