Changing table Yes or No?

Did any of you veteran mamas really find it helpful? I have a one bedroom apt right now and we dont plan on upgrading for at least a year after baby is born. So trying to save some space lol. But I REALLY want one, everyone just keeps telling me how unnecessary it is. Thoughts?

Used a changing mat on the floor with my first, and will do the same with this baby! I'd be scared they rolled off x

I just use the top of a chest of draws with a mat on it, but have found it really useful. I still use it now and my little girl is 1.

glad I never got one it would have been a total waste of money and space (like the $300 glider that has never been used once) we just change the kid where ever we are couch, bed, floor it'd be a pain in the ass to always have to haul the kid all the way to that one specific spot.

We have a changing pad on top of his dresser. He’s almost 2 and we still use it for all changes when we we are home.

Yes! My son's bedroom is right next to the bathroom so we use it after every bath to dry him off and get him dressed. We also store his diapers, wipes, and creams on the shelves in baskets in the table so it doubles as storage.

I used mine a lot and i got one with a lot of storage space under it so it helped save space as well and keep me organized.

No I’ve had one and never used it. It was just another place to throw clothes haha.

I always just changed on the bed couch floor wherever. I did tho have a pack and play that was a play pin +bassinet +changing table. I used the changing table on it sometimes too. That may be a good option for u

I also lived in a one bedroom apartment until our first was 18 months and we shared a room! I had a changing pad on top of a cube organizer I used as her dresser, kinda like this one

It saved a lot of space for us! But if your planning to get a dresser even putting it on top of that would be a smart way to use space.
I also had her pack n play in the living room (I slept out there for a couple months so my husband was able to sleep at night) and they come with a little changing table attachment, I used that a lot!
