How do you feel about reusable diapers?

Just wondering how people feel about reusable diapers, I never even knew about them til a few years ago. I'm interested in the idea of them, what's your opinion?

Love them! When I work, he is in disposable but cloth is the norm in our household. Between the chemicals in the disposables and the accumulated used ones in the landfills, I’m happy to use them. 5 months of using the 20 we have and there is not one stain. My friend actually asked if I bleach them...I don’t. I’ve even made the switch to cloth pads and noticed shorter periods. We started using “unpaper towels” as well. He never has a diaper rash and the only blow outs he has had are with disposables. He does sometime leak but I just change the inserts we use.

I did cloth diapers with my son when he was a baby. They aren’t that bad to do, I loved Charle Banana brand. They are a bit expensive at first but in the end I believe you save money and aren’t that waste full. Number one reason we did it was because our son was becoming allergic to chemicals is disposables
