I’ve recently spoken to my gynecologist about a concern about a hormone imbalance and possible PCOS.

We ordered lab results (blood) for it and she set up an ultrasound...

I wasn’t aware it was transvaginal (through the vagina opening). I was a bit freaked out and super uncomfortable during my Pap smear cause I haven’t been sexually active in forever and I’m scared the ultra sound is going to hurt and be super uncomfortable...

Should I take some Advil beforehand?

What was it like when you had a transvaginal ultrasound??
