what’s the best foundation? i use rimmel match perfection since i started makeup (3years ago, now 14 years old) and always have used the same foundation, any ideas?🤔

Totally depends on your skin type. If you have oily skin, you may like a matte foundation. It helps control oil. If you have dry skin, you may like a dewy foundation. It won’t dry your skin out even more and gives you a glowy finish.

I use Philosophy Moisturizer with skin tint. At your age, this would have been a saving grace for me. I never washed off my make-up at night and I kind of still don’t now because I am such a lazy person... lol... but this is basically just a moisturizer that helps level out your skin so it’s not as bad to leave on when you go to bed. It’s AMAZING. The coverage is still great. Foundation really gave me the worst acne when I was younger. 😭

I really like Wet N Wild’s Photo Focus foundation. It’s very buildable. It isn’t matte or dewy, it’s like right in between. The shade range is pretty decent. The price point is amazing. I have oily/acne prone skin and it looks the best on me out of the other drugstore foundations I’ve tried.

Another favorite of mine is the Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream. Don’t let the title fool you, even though it’s marketed as a BB cream, it has medium to full coverage. Matte finish. A favorite amongst a lot of girls (and boys) with oily skin and acne. Decent price point. However, their shade range is lacking.
