How much should we need?

My friends and I talked about going on a short little beach trip like Friday through Sunday type thing. We’d mostly be going to one that’s 5 hours away. Around how much should it cost? ( I know y’all wouldn’t know exactly but I’m wanting a rough estimate) We live in Alabama btw

You need to do the research yourself. 
How much is a hotel for that time? 
What types of places to do you plan on eating? (Cheap, fancy, make your own meals, ect) 
How much will gas cost? 
How much do you want for extra things? (Ice cream, souvenirs, ect) 
I think you’d be able to come up with the answers a lot easier than the rest of us, give it a try

I’d say maybe $1000 to enjoy yourself. Hotels can be pretty expensive and gas too. I’m in Louisiana and gas is $2.25 per gallon. You may want to go out and do other things like shop so having extra money is always good. You may be able to get away with only bringing $600-700 if that stuff doesn’t really matter to you
