RE newbie

So after 17months of trying unsuccessfully we took the next step and reached out to receive care for infertility.

I got my labs done which all came back great and my partners SA came out great as well.

I called my providers nurse line because we never got a call back regarding being referred to a specialist. The nurse said they are FULLY booked and won’t know if they can fill me in until AUGUST 😡 . They added me to the cancellation list which means someone has to cancel for me to get in. & there’s a wait list for bookings in August already.

I feel like life is trying to prevent me from getting pregnant I can’t even book a damn appointment.

I do have to say I have a phone appointment on July 3rd I was told it would take about an hour but it’s more about learning about me and my partners medical history. I’m hoping I can convince the dr during the phone call to book me a hsg test before potentially being seen in August.

Has anyone else had trouble booking an appointment with a RE? How long did it take? Am I just being inpatient?

I’m literally thinking of traveling the most an 1 1/2 to another specialist within my network.
