Infected belly piercing?

I got it pierced almost 2 months ago and I had went to the beach recently and got drunk so I don’t remember what I did to it but recently it’s been oozing a lot since then and it started forming this bubble thing on the bottom. I’ve been doing sea salt soaks and using peroxide once a day. Should I wait a while and see what happens?

Yea that needs to come out.... you may need some antibiotics

Do not take it out! If you take it out you can end up with a abscess and will have to go to the hospital for an incision and drain. Wash twice a day with non scented antibacterial soap and  a couple of sea salt soaks a day. You also should put a longer barbell in it to relieve the pressure.  I have seen a lot of problems with removing the barbell so please don't. I am a nurse if that makes you feel any better about taking my advice 😀

Don’t take it out. Taking it out won’t let the infection get out. Go back to the shop where you got it done and ask them to put a longer bar in. It’s swollen from the infection and the bubble is from the swelling. You need something to keep it open and let the infection keep draining. Don’t use hydrogen peroxide on it either it. Wash 2xs a day with unscented antibacterial soap and keep doing salt soaks. Most importantly don’t play with it

So it will burn, but rubbing alcohol will kill all that and dry it out. I’d use it twice a day. GL!

you need to take it off (with clean hands) drain out the pus and then clean it with non scented antibacterial soap, dry it well then do cotton swab clean with liquid aloe, use a longer navel ring to take off the pressure off it. wash it daily, that's what I did to mine to avoid getting rejected

You may want to take it out as it may force itself to come out and rip. Your body is rejecting it. I’d say take it out and wait about a year or until it fully heals and then some and get it redone if thats what you want!

I had too take mine out when this happened as it didn’t heal. I had it repierced a year later and it’s been in for 10 year now with no problem x
