Any speech therapists/pathologists out there?

I recently decided to go in a different direction and I think this field is perfect for me. Anyone have any advice or pros/cons about the field? Thanks :)

I’m an SLP! I work full time for a school district (my school is k-8) and work per diem for a hospital in acute rehabilitation (on average about 2 Saturdays a month, any holidays from the school, and summer/winter/spring vacation), and I see a couple students privately on the side. It is an AMAZING field to get into it! Yes, very competitive to get into programs (especially California), but completely worth it. There will always be things about a job that you’d like to change, but the flexibility and scope of practice of this profession is really amazing. Good luck!

this is the field I'm headed in. This is a great career choice. you'll be able to find a job anywhere. The only thing is that it is competitive to get into your master's program. They wont accept you if you get anything lower than a B in a course. Best wishes and congrats
