How long did you TTC before you starts Clomid?

Im curious because I’ll be starting it for the first time this month and I’m not sure what to expect.

We were about 15 months into trying, this is month 16 and I used clomid this cycle 50mg and I ovulated!!!!! Cycle day 15.
I had a few negative side effects if that’s the info your looking for, I was weepy I would cry often, I also had insomnia the last 2 days and then 2 days post clomid. Aside from that nada and so worth it to actually be ovulating!

Only two for me because my doc was already pretty sure I didn’t ovulate so he didn’t make me wait for testing. I’ve seen him for hormonal issues since I was sixteen and he has told me for years that the moment I was ready I should call him so he could give me what I need to ovulate. On round three now.

I wouldn’t say TRYING but my hubby and I have never used protection and we’ve been together for 5 yrs ... my doc put me on clomid as soon as we decide to truly TTC and I’m waiting for test day after 3rd round
