Baby won’t walk

Okay so my son just turned 1 a week ago, he has been crawling since 6months old. I know every child goes at their own rate & I get that.. but I feel like my son is never going to walk. I believe that he can, he just doesn’t want to. He won’t stand on his own but he’ll use furniture to walk & climb all over. That doesn’t last very long then he wants to be held. & you can’t just sit with him & hold him. He has to be walked around while being held or he throws a fit. If you don’t pick him up, he will scream at the top of his Lungs & bang his head on the floor repeatedly giving himself purple bruises & bumps until someone picks him up.. I don’t know what to do anymore. Does anyone have any advice?
