IUD - gain weight or not?

so at the moment I’m on the implant but it’s making me gain weight and I workout but it’s not helping, I’m thinking of going on the IUD but not sure if it will make me gain weight, I know everyone is different but just wondering!

The copper one has no hormones and this will not. the Marina I found had minimal side effects being progesterone only and such a low dose of hormones.

Mirena and other hormonal IUDs are localised so the hormones have very very little effect elsewhere, that’s why I changed from the implant to the IUD. it’s really good, I hated the pill but have loved the IUD and the implant

So far no weight gain with my paragard IUD. I personally love it. No issues what so ever. Versus the weight gain I had with the pill and depo. Still trying to get back on track from that, weight wise.
