Has anyone attempted potty training yet?

Some days I think she’s ready but I’m too scared to try 😯

About 6 weeks ago my son was so nearly 100% potty trained, but seems to have had a major set back. He tells us when he needs to use it, but cries / won't sit on it unless he gets a piece of chocolate 🙄 (originally I was giving him a teeny tiny piece each time he used the potty successfully). He likes reading his potty training book, I sit him on the potty each time I change his nappy & praise him from sitting nicely even it's only a second or two! I don't work to push him, so we'll just keep doing what we're doing for now.

Well, we got the potty and everything was good... But he kept holding it... So read a bit online about helping him release urine but apparently if you potty train before 3 they have a tendency to hold foe really long time and can streach their bladders and have a hard time releasing. Cause UTIs and can effect kidneys... So just put everything away and am going to try again when he's 3.

I have introduced the potty, and put her on it if she asks. I’m not actively potty training though. I feel she’s close to ready, but we’re moving in 2 weeks, and I’m due with baby number two a few short weeks from then. I feel it will be too much, and ultimately hold her back. I’ll start once she shows super clear signs of readiness, and she is more comfortable being a big sister in a new house.

My daughter says “poop” when she’s pooped and also points out whenever there is a potty nearby or when someone is in the potty, but I bought her a potty and she is afraid of it lol so idk.

Kind of. She doesn’t sit on a potty yet but she tells me when she poops and signs it.

We just started about a week ago and so far she successfully uses it every morning when she first wakes up . We’re still working on the all other times of the day lol

No, but want to. Had a baby in May and she still hasnt fully adjusted to the change, so dont want to throw too much change at her at once. She has been doing his thing where she plays in her poopy diaper though, so....yeah. It is coming.

We are just starting - like such early stages that I don’t know if I’d truly call it potty training.  But we are trying to encourage her as much as possible to sit on it, she sits on her potty whenever I go to the bathroom. At night we sit on the potty, then wash our hands and brush our teeth. Just trying to get her used to it and start good routines. She’s showing a lot of signs to being ready, but I don’t think I am mentally ready to make that jump!
