Advice?... babies..

Okay so I really want to try to start having kids here in the next year or so. I'm not sure how to bring the topic up to my significant other tho.. his parents didn't have him till they were older and I get the feeling he doesn't want kids till his mid 30s.. I can't wait 7-10 years to start my family.... I'm going crazy right now lol. So baby crazy! And if I wait that long I'm going to be running a zoo. I run a bird rescue and rehabilitation out of my house, my animals are my "babies". We have been together for almost 4 years, and have a great relationship.
