Help?

Sooo someone help please because I started new birth control 20 days ago. On the day I started my period, okay well for the past couple days I’ve been getting like cramps and Brown Discharge which sometimes looks like blood ? I don’t get it because I shouldn’t even be getting my period until next week but this pill I’m on stops it until the 3rd month so I really don’t get it does it mean I’m pregnant or something?
