How do you tell people you're pregnant again?

Hello!  My husband and I just found out that we're pregnant!  In late February I experienced a very painful week 13 natural miscarriage.  We're excited to be pregnant again after about 4 1/2 months but it's going to be tough not to worry!!

Right now, I'm struggling with how to tell our family and friends again!  I'm a advocate of telling everyone because I needed all of that support when we miscarried.  I just don't know if all the "cutsey" ways to tell people are still appropriate?

How have you handled this?

Personally I'm not a fan of the cutesy announcements period! I find them super cheesy and as someone who has experienced more than one loss, I can't imagine announcing in such a public and frankly kind of obnoxious way. We told immediate family after we found out and will slowly start to tell friends once I'm out of the first trimester. Probably won't post anything "bump" related until I'm over half way. Currently 7 weeks.

We lost our first at 8/9 weeks and had barely announced when we lost her. This time I decided that we would celebrate each moment with this baby. My best friend took adorable announcement photos for us and we announced at what we would find out was only about 3/4 weeks but we thought we were 5 weeks. I'm 7 weeks today. I couldn't imagine not telling people, we had such wonderful support after our loss and I couldn't wait to share with everyone. It's been 3 years for us.

With our first, we told our families on Christmas Day with cute labels that we had made and put into champagne bottles.  We miscarried about 2 weeks later.  This time, I was really struggling on what to do.  On one hand, I didn't want to make a big thing about it because I truly didn't feel safe and secure in the pregnancy.  The more I thought about it, though, the more I realized that we should make a big deal about it again.  Imagine that this pregnancy was successful and a few years down the road your little one asks you how you told your family about him/her.  How unspecial would they feel if you hadn't done anything because of what happened before them?  I ended up making these wooden calendars full of our families' bdays and an extra block for the baby and gave it to our moms for Mother's Day. I'm glad we did it and now that I'm 15w3d and everything is still going well, I'm even more glad!

I haven't felt comfortable making a public announcement after we lost our baby girl at 20 weeks. I am now 22 weeks with another girl.

It was very hard for us as well but we got over it when we seen that everything was ok with this pregnancy.. And our baby's heartbeat was very strong and all the test came back normal!! We are now almost 20 weeks pregnant.. And also this about that this is Gods will.. I know that our baby before this one wasn't well, and that's why God save him and took him home.. But now has blessed us with our miracle baby and couldn't be more excited!! Good luck to you and your new miracle baby!! 🎉🎉✨✨

We told our family after the first ultrasound and then we started telling others as we've seen them. I'm waiting until the end August to tell work (I'm a teacher and will be 16 weeks when summer vacation is over). So far the support has been great, and after two losses it is much appreciated!

We just told our parents early on and waited to tell other close family members after the 12 week scan. I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks so even at 12 weeks I was still nervous about telling people. After my scan at16 weeks we told everybody else

I really struggled with this as well. I didn't want it to feel like "here we go again.." We opted to wait until after our first doc appointment to do anything. Once we saw the heartbeat and knew everything was ok, my enthusiasm for our announcement bounced back.
