Ribs hurting!?

Im 8 weeks pregnant and the left side of my ribs are hurting. Is this normal??

I've had rib pain since about 8 weeks, too. Dr said it's musculoskeletal. Nothing of real concern to him.  Im 22w4d and still have it, and some days is really really bad. I feel best when ever I am able to lean to the right and stretch it out or lay flat on my back.
