Hair and nails done?

Question

I have appts today to get my hair and nails done for our one year anniversary and to see family. Never thought about asking my doctor but I rarely get my hair done and nails it’s only for special occasions. Hair is usually every 3-4 months. Any ladies still sometimes treat themselves when pregnant ?

I just got my hair done yesterday at 13 weeks! You’re fine (: and I’m in school for esthetics and do peoples nails all the time! Just make sure you’re in a well ventilated room!

Ive been doing my own nails at home with builder gel just because the smell in the nail salon is super strong and the builder gel is easy to work with its even become a little hobby and thankfully i have a hair dresser in the family so I can avoid the salon as well ive been just doing my roots every 8 weeks

my doctor recommended no hair dye until 14 weeks or so. not sure why and I didn't ask cause I don't dye it but worth asking your doc or midwife.

I got my nails done yesterday and cut and colour today. I avoided it in first trimester but think as long as it’s well ventilated you’ll be fine. I did go and get an extra patch test for my hair just in case but there was no issue. Hope that helps.
