Started getting slight contractions Thursday evening, which soon turned pretty strong and close together. By 10:30pm, they were about 5-7mins apart.  My fiancé had just gone to work around 8pm so I was home alone with my boys. Had my mom come over just in case it progressed, which it did pretty quickly. By the time we left the house, my contractions were less than a minute apart and she refused to drive the 30mins to the hospital where I was supposed to deliver, and thank GOD because within 4-5 blocks of leaving, my water broke in the car. She turned into the block of the local emergency room and as soon as we got there, I felt the urge to push. My baby boy was born at 1:43am on Friday 6/8/18 in my mom’s car in the parking lot of the ER, not a hospital. Zero drugs, no IVs, no doctors or nurses, and I did it all and feel AMAZING 😁❤️🙏🏻 my fiancé made it from the city by 3:30am straight to the hospital where I was transported by ambulance with the new baby boy. We are thrilled and I still can’t believe just how crazy his birth story is, it’s like something you see in the movies 🎥🙈 introducing LUCAS SEBASTIAN RODAS 💙
